planex.PNGPlanex has released a 1TB (512GB x 2) HDD enclosure with SATA II hard drives in RAID 0 mode for additional storage and plug-n-play capability with USB 2.0 connectivity.

The device offers up to 480Mbps of data transfer rate, all aluminum housing for efficient thermal dissipation, a cooling fan and a LED indicator on the front panel.

There’s no word on availability or pricing yet. The unit looks promising, however. I can only hope it’s available soon and for a reasonable price.
