rokre6.PNGYou know, I think it’s unfair that China, Korea and Japan get to see all the coolest gadgets first. How come CE companies don’t show some love to their North American (and European customers, for that matter) every once in a while. Is it really too much to ask? Motorola has unveiled the ROKR E6, successor to the original ROKR (we now how that turned out) in China exclusively.

The ROKR E6 packs a 2.4-inch display that supports 260k colors, GSM 90/1800 bands, touchscreen with stylus capabilities, 2-megapixel camera, business card reader, QR code scanner, push-to-talk capability, handwriting recognition, 3.5mm audio jack input, integrated music player with FM tuner, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth connectivity.

The really exciting part is, I suppose, the replacement of iTunes. Motorola has replaced iTunes with Rhapsody. No way! This is a newsmaker headline by itself. How could Motorola resist Apple? Looks like Steve Jobs wasn’t in a good mood when Motorola designers showcased the ROKR E6.

You will get about 7 hours of talk time and 235 hours on standby for $545. With this price tag, Motorola better hopes it works.
