chocolateplatinum.PNGLG has announced a successor to the original Chocolate, which was too much of a hit to mention. Personally, I love the new Platinum addition far more than I liked the original Chocolate. The updated model is just too sweet.

In addition to the design update, the KE800 (Chocolate Platinum) supports double the internal memory from 128MB to 256MB than the original version, a microSD slot for storage expansion, FM radio integration, a 2-megapixel camera with auto-focus and macro mode and stereo Bluetooth.

To top it all, the LG Chocolate Platinum is 35 percent slimmer than its predecessor.

There’s no word on pricing or availability yet, but expect it to hit retail channels soon.
