Those jokers at Wal-Mart (out of all the possible places) have “accidentally” published Zune’s starting price on Wal-Mart.com. According to sources, the 30GB Zune in all its ugly glory will cost $284 brand new.

Just to go off on a random tangent, what’s up with the random $284 price tag? I think we would all appreciate a nice round number to, say, $279.99. How’s that for value, huh Wal-Mart?
