« Motorola PEBL U6 Special Edition: Oh So Charming... | Main | World's Smallest Keychain Camera »
Basically, the speaker is initially powered with 7x AA batteries that you can recharge either with an AC adapter or via solar energy. They are contained in a robust, weatherproof housing which makes them sturdy and quite unattractive. Oh yeah, did I mention how ugly this thing looks? Talk about getting The Ugliest Gadget of The Year Award this year. The remote is included as well, and you can connect your portable devices, such as the music player or a CD player to the unit for portability. It will take about 12 hours to recharge from an AC outlet and 6 hours from direct sunlight. So, let’s see. This thing is only good for beaches, and that too if you don’t already have a portable music player or a portable radio. For AU $199, what a waste of money! Not only does it look ugly, but there’s no point in getting it. |

Hehe. You funny apartment dweller. It means you don't have to run speaker wires into the backyard from the living room Stereo as well as many other possible situations...

Thanks for the compliment. :) I understand the lack of wires and its uses, but there are wireless outdoor speakers that look much better than this insect repellent.
Take care,
