« Apple Cell Phone Is Real | Main | Itronix GoBook XR-1 Rough-'n-Tough Notebook » Okay, this whole portable entertainment thing is getting way out of hand. Verizon, for some odd reason, thinks people would want to watch an entire movie on their tiny cell phone screens. What is verizon thinking? Who would want to squint for an average of 90 minutes and watch a movie on their phone? Besides, when would you watch it, while waiting for a bus or waiting in line at a local fast food place? All of this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. In fact, a recent poll conducted by Bloomberg and LA Times showed very little interest from young people with little desire to watch a movie on a cell phone. Good thinking, folks. Verizon said it started offering movies via vSpot movie subscription package that cost $6.95 per month for unlimited titles. However, the recent updates add PPV to the listing that range from $3.99 and $5.99. No, thank you, I would rather download a game for $4.99 and enjoy that instead of watching a movie for healthy entertainment. |
