gobookxr1.PNGThis sounds like a pretty nice notebook with full throttle wireless capabilities, good hardware configuration and rough-‘n-tough ergonomic design.

To give you a taste of what GoBook is capable of - the XR-1 packs Bluetooth, WAN, WLAN, GPS, CRMA and RF wireless technologies. It can operate in -10F to 140F temperatures, withstand 26 3-foot drops, operate under high altitudes, low pressure points, high humidity levels and protect the system against water, dust and other hazardous pollutants that could otherwise be deadly to your standard notebook computer.

The notebook is equipped with an Intel Core Duo 1.83GHz microprocessor, supports 512MB - 2048MB of RAM, ATI M22 external graphics controller with 32MB of memory and removable SATA hard drives. To top it all, the notebook weighs only 6.8lbs, comes with a 12.1” display, a glow-in-the-dark keyboard, a number of carrying options (hard handles, “bat hook”, a number of other things), integrated feet + touchscreen stylus and a plethora of other accessories.

The Itronix GoBook XR-1 is available immediately for an unknown price.
