Looks like LG’s Chocolate is about to become available soon. Despite other reports, CNET claims LG plans to avail the Chocolate starting August 8.

We reported on the LG Chocolate in mid-May, although that was a different model, it appears. CNET UK did a quick take on the phone and here’s what they had to say:

“Unquestionably attractive, the LG Chocolate phone is dark and smooth like its namesake, with several great features to boot. A rebranded version of a Korean phone, the slim slider has touch-pad buttons; a 262,000-color display; 512MB of internal memory; a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash; an MP3 player; stereo speakers; and EV-DO connectivity. It is coming to the U.S. market, and we hope to get a hold of it when it launches later this year.”
