At CES this year, companies said the next step with flash drives was to increase their capacities to 4GB and 8GB and offer additional applications to make them a useful accessory rather than a mundane storage device.

Buffalo jumped the high capacity bandwagon and has unveiled an 8GB flash drive. Unfortunately, there aren’t very many details available on the device, but the exterior of the device isn’t too exciting (read: durable).

Buffalo’s 8GB USB flash drive is expected to be available at the end of June for an unknown price.
