quixun_001.PNGDays when Apple and Dell were the exclusive 30” display providers are over. Quixun, a relatively new name to a good majority of us, has a released a 30” LCD display of its own in Japan.

The M30W WQXGA 30” display features a 2560x1600 resolution, 300cd/m2 brightness, 400:1 contrast ratio, 12ms pixel response time and 1x dual-link DVI port.

Quixun’s M30W proposes fairly decent specifications that should be good enough for majority of you out there, assuming you are not looking for a gaming monitor.

The M30W is available exclusively in Japan for $1,765. Whether or not Quixun plans to ship its new display to global retail channels is unclear.
