What’s amazing about Nike is that the company is an innovator for athletes. Whether its shoes or supporting accessories, it manages to come through, just like it did today.

The Nike Cuff Wristband Watch is interchangeable from one cuff to another and displays time even when wearing a “real” wristwatch is impossible. According to Nike, there are three interchangeable cuffs for any mood, cuffs are machine-washable, which isn’t (or at least shouldn’t) be much of a surprise, and they are water resistance.

For the price of $39.00, they aren’t terribly expensive like other athlete exclusive products, but is there really a use for something like this? With almost everyone carrying a cell phone these days, a wristwatch seems like overkill sometimes. Quite honestly, I’m not sure how many athletes would want to keep track of time when they are practicing. Still, it’s a nifty device.
